A thousand years in the sight of the Almighty God is like a split second, for an average Nigerian politician however, a four year term when he is elected or coronated is eternity, making them incapable of realising that power is absolutely transient.
The processes and institutions that produce political results that meet the needs of the people while making the best use of resources at their disposal is the needed foundation towards peace, tranquility, growth and development
The ability of the men and women in the Kogi West Elders Forum (KWEF) in the braking of what had hitherto appears like a jinx in the political firmament of the political development of the people of Kogi West Senatorial District, in coming out to give to the people of the District an endorsed candidate in the run up to the 2023 gubernatorial election of Kogi state will continue to inspire applause and gratitude in their hearts for a very long time.
This is the very first time any group of people will sincerely and honestly approach the issue of the very clear political maginalisation and domination of the people of Kogi West Senatorial District with a highly commendable commitment and devotion.
The first positive and encouraging shocker was when the people saw them appear before the President and Commander in chief of the Armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Aso Rock to table to him and to the world the very morbid and unacceptable condition of political margilisation of a people so intelligent, resilient, peaceful, God fearing and very law abiding.
