Appeal to them to have faith in the Accord Party as Kogi Governorship election draws near.
The Governorship candidate of the Accord Party in the forthcoming Kogi state Governorship election, Admiral Jibrin Usman Wednesday urged Kogi state Muslims Faithful to emulate and demonstrate the virtues of Prophet Muhammad as they celebrate the Eid-el-Maulud.
Admiral Jibrin Usman in a statement signed and made available to newsmen described Eid-el-Maulud as a special day for Muslims all over marking the birthday of the Holy Prophet.
“This is the period where we must learn and cultivate the exemplary life of the Holy Prophet which includes humility, tolerance, selflessness, love and perseverance.
“I want to use this medium to appeal to the good people of Kogi state and the Muslims all over the state to pray for Kogi state which is suffering from bad leadership, infrastructure decadence, thuggery and unemployment amongst others.
“We cannot continue like this. November 11th, 2023 is a special day in Kogi state where our productive Kogites would have the opportunity to re-write the history of the state where good governance, respect for the rule of law, youth empowerment, women emancipation, job opportunities for our teeming unemployed youths and a new Kogi State we can all be proud of, would be the order of the day.
While rejoicing with the Muslims on the celebration of this year Eid-el-Maulud, I want to urged Muslims celebrating the Maulud festival to extend their hand of fellowship to the needy and vulnerable in the spirit of the season while praying for the peace, unity and development of our beloved Kogi State.
