….Donated four (4) plots of land for community development

The State Security Adviser to Kogi State, Commander Jerry Omodara (Rtd), received in his office, the leadership and delegated members of Oke-Offin Youths Association.

They were there to brief and debrief him on lineup activities and projects before the Association.

The delegation which was led by Mr Daniel Ibitomi, saids the Association has concluded her decision to build a Recreational Centre within Oke-Offin township, where residents and passerbys can stop to relax and have fun.

He stated that it has become necessary for the Association to meet with him (Cdr. Omodara) before embarking on such project.

Omodara in his response expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit. He applauded the team for their brilliant initiative and passion for community development.

He (Cdr. Omodara) stated further by donating one of his landed properties within Oke-Offin township which measured about four (4) plots to the Association for the construction of the Recreational Centre. He equally assured the delegation of his utmost commitment as they embark on the project, noting that he will show all necessary efforts to ensure a timely completion.

He further admonished the team to shun all forms of social vices, stressing that Kogi State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello is seriously frowned at any form of social vices. While appealing to them to always work in accordance, in order to for them to achieve their goals.

Mr Oluwasegun Ayodele on behalf of the delegation thanked Cdr. Jerry Omodara for his fatherly counsels and roles for Oke-Offin youths, and also poured encomiums on the personality and leadership charisma of Commander Jerry Omodara as a silent achiever who is though bold, but yet objective and reserved.
