My attention has been drawn to the reaction of Mr. Kingsley Fanwo to Elder Leke Abejide’s allegations against the Kogi State Government of harassment, intimidation and planned arrest.
A court of competent jurisdiction has ruled directing security agencies to ensure the safety of the Governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC).
As usual, the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications instead of addressing the main issue of harassment of the opposition in the state prefers to insult and denigrate Elder Leke Abejide.
The Kogi State Government under Alh Yahaya Bello is noted for violence in electioneering. Its brutality to anyone it fears is capable of defeating it’s candidate in an election is common knowledge.
For Kingsley Fanwo to suggest that Elder Leke Abejide is making up the numbers in the line-up of Governorship candidates is clear proof that the self-styled Evangelist is delusional.
To make such an assertion on a man who has defeated the APC candidates for the Yagba Federal Constituency seat in two elections back to back is manifestation of psychosis.
It is moronic for Kingsley Fanwo to call Elder Leke Abejide, “a WAEC fee politician” when his principal has hurriedly announced to make payment of WAEC fees a State policy. If Kingsley Fanwo’s ranting should be countenance, it will be apt to describe the Kogi State Government as a WAEC fee Government.
In contrast to Kingsley Fanwo’s ridiculous line of thought, it is his Principal, Alhaji Yahaya Bello that is a political desperado whose determined efforts to foist his cousin on Kogites by all means is based on ethnic bigotry.
Even before vying for any political office, Elder Leke Abejide has been there for the people of not only his Federal Constituency and the people have shown appreciation with their votes. For a man who could not secure the ticket of his political party despite support of his principal to start lecturing on leadership is a pointer to the level some appointees can descend to display loyalty.
Political and ethnic division have never been this intense in Kogi State all thanks to the juvenile government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello. It is understandable for Kingsley Fanwo to defend the actions and utterances of his boss but if he continues to
perceive or interpret things differently from what they are, then there is an urgent need for him to seek psychiatric help.
Kingsley Fanwo’s persistent, pervasive, and often compulsive pattern of excessive lying behavior is well-known and Kogites have accepted the reality that it is an aberration they must endure until November 11th, 2023 when their votes will chase out a Government that has been the reason for their agony in over seven years. Kogites cannot afford the continuation of a government that uses power over them in a cruel, unjust and harmful way.
Kogi State is not under hereditary Monarchy and Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s fixation on perpetuating himself in power by proxy through his cousin is bound to fail.
Taskmasters everywhere are allergic to any change in status quo that will liberate the oppressed from shackles of inept leadership, so Kingsley Fanwo’s tirade, though unreasonable, is understandable.
Fanwo should wake up and smell the coffee because Kogites will no longer trust a wicked, insensitive, thieving and self-serving group of leaders.
Kingsley Fanwo, the psychotic moron should start living with the reality that, the countdown to the end of the wasted and wasteful years of the directionless Government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello has began irrespective of the intensification of his clownishness in the Court of Alhaji Yahaya Bello. What else does a clown do if not make a fool of himself while thinking he is amusing people?
