KABBA STUDENTS’ UNION (KSU) VISIT TO THE VC KOGI STATE UNIVERSITY KABBA: Strengthening Local Chapters for Student Unity

In a move towards fostering unity and representation, the Kabba Students’ Union (KSU) President, Comr. Sylvester Olubiyo, accompanied by some key executives, recently paid a visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Kogi State University Kabba on January 22, 2024.

The primary agenda of the visit was centered around the establishment of a local chapter of the Kabba Students Union within the institution. Comr. Sylvester Olubiyo engaged in a constructive discussion with the Vice-Chancellor to explore the feasibility and potential benefits of creating this local chapter.

During the meeting, the VC not only welcomed the proposal but also commended the initiative. Expressing his support, he assured the KSU President and his team that he would be pleased to approve the establishment of the local chapter within the university.

This significant development marks a step towards enhancing the representation and voice of Kabba students within the larger academic community. The creation of a local chapter is expected to provide a platform for students to address their unique concerns, celebrate their cultural heritage, and actively participate in various academic and extracurricular activities.
