A chairmanship hopeful for the Kabba-Bunu local government area of Kogi state under the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Chief Olugbemi Femi has implored Christians to show love and be compassionate with the vulnerable groups in the society in this festive season.
In a message he signed and made to newsmen in Lokoja, Olugbemi congratulated Christians on the occasion of this year’s Christmas, saying the festival is firmly rooted in the Christian faith as it marks the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He urged Christians to use the occasion to extend hands of love and humane brotherliness as enshrined in the doctrine of Christ.
“I extend my warmest greetings to the peace-loving people of Kabba-Bunu in this season of celebration of the birth of Saviour Jesus Christ. It is a time for us to show gratitude to God for his numerous blessings especially through the Lord Jesus to redeem the world from Everlasting ruins. It is indeed a time to demonstrate utmost humility, enduring kindness and heart of sacrifice especially towards the less privileged in our society’

He appealed to Christians to use the opportunity of the period to pray for our dear local government, state and Nigeria especially the leader of the country, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Yahaya Bello and the Governor – Elect, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman for attainment of their noble objectives for a greater Nigeria and Kogi state.
He urged the stakeholders of the APC in Kabba-Bunu to think of what becomes of the party if they refuse to take the right decision by upholding the truth and nothing but the truth for Otu ward not be cheated in the scheme of things.
