The member representating Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Honourable Salman Idris has matched his words with action as he facilitated the procurement of ICT centre for Ijumu Anglican science secondary school Iyara.
Honourable Salman had on 28th of October 2023 during Iyara Cultural Day, promised to honour the community with a standard ICT centre in addition to the five hundred thousand naira that he donated for allied community development projects.
The solar powered ICT centre comprises of 15 computers and CPU, a printer, one big generator and some important items needed for an ICT centre to function properly.
Meanwhile, a former Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area and an elder statement, Honourable Molomo Omonuwa, has expressed his gratitude to the Honourable member for keeping to his words to deliver an ICT center to Iyara community.
Chief Omonuwa said ; With all these, our children in Iyara are ready for ICT learning and assured the member that adequate security will be put in place to ensure that the equipment is well secured.
