Forum assures of Ododo winning.
Kogi State Governor Alhaji Yahata Bello has been described as a man of his word as he has paid part of the salary arrears of the former Local Government Councils political office holders who served between 2013- 2016.

While speaking to Journalists on Wednesday, in Lokoja, the forum chairman, Musa Abdullahi, and secretary, Hon. Muhammed Idris Omale commended the governor for his magnanimity in heeding their pleas with immediate approval and payment of the arrears.

He said, as of now, most of the local Government Council beneficiaries have received alerts, stressing that it is only a Governor with a heart of gold and milk will respond swiftly to the cries of his people.
He disclosed that the governor has assured that the remaining balance would be paid in full before the end of his administration.

Omale who was full of joy for the administration of Governor Yahata Bello, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for their commitment to improving the lives of the people, assured that his group, which is closest to the grassroots would mobilize massively for the success of APC in the November 11 governorship election.

The forum specifically applauds Gov’ Yahaya Bello for approving the payment of another part of the arrears of their salaries, furniture, and severance allowances owed during the tenure of his predecessor.

He added that the group is committed to the Ododo/ Joel project and has launched operation Deliver Your polling unit, ward, and local government, saying with the renewed zeal of the members to the election, APC will win convincingly by the grace of God.

He charged members not to be swayed by the opposition parties whom he said have nothing to offer to the people.

He noted that with the total transformation of the state by the present administration, the only thing expected of the people is to ensure that Ododo emerged victorious for the sustainability of the legacy projects.

Recall that the Local Government Council political office holders who served between 2013 and 2016 under the administration of Captain Idris Wada were owed several months of their salaries and severance benefits, which the Governor has graciously commenced total defrayment.

While calling on the people of Kogi state to come out en-mass to vote for the Ododo / Joel candidature in the November 11 governorship election, urged them to shun acts that will breach law and order before, during, and after the election.
