Ahead of the flag-off of campaigns for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for the November 11th governorship elections in Kogi State, the Entertainment Committee of the Campaign Council has held her inaugural meeting.

The committee which is made up of top notch music and media personalities has Hon. Juwon Olorunnipa (Jumabee), a heavy weight in the entertainment industry as its Director and Hon. Dauda Suleiman (Hi-speed), another rave in the Kogi and Nigeria music space as Secretary.

Other principal officers are, Amb. Kiikpoye Karibo, PRO, Hajia Maryam Muazu, asst. Secretary, Shuaib Yetunde, asst. PRO.

For the purpose of making the job easier, creating an all-inclusive process and giving a classic show during the campaigns, the committee also set up and approved heads for the following sub-committees:

1 Media/Publicity, Mr Large Aleru
2 Security, Hon Yahaya Abubakar
3 Accommodation/Logistics, Comr. Peter Aliyu
4 Artist management, Suberu Sunday
5 Transport, Hajia Fadilat Okene
6 Remodeling and Packaging, Hajia Maryam Muazu
7 Budget and Planning, Secretariat

The committee also endorsed two major events ahead of the official flag-off of campaigns. The events which is geared towards warming-up, test running and awakening the spirit of party faithfuls and the general public is the committeeโ€™s way of hitting the ground running and also sending the we-are-fully-ready and fully-motivated signal. The events are: INAUGURAL PARTY FOR THE CAMPAIGN COUNCIL and INAUGURAL WALK FOR THE ODODO/JOEL CAMPAIGNS. The dates for both events are Friday 6th and Saturday 7th October respectively.

Hon. Juwon enjoined members to bring in their A games into making the entire campaigns the very best as the plan is not just to put up an event, but to give Kogites an epic show which will in-turn sway the electorates into giving their total endorsement and votes to the APC and the Ododo/Joel ticket.
