Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael Congratulates Gov. Ododo On His Appeal Court Victory
Today’s triumph at the Court of Appeal not only validates the authenticity of the Ododo’s mandate but also demonstrates the strength of our unity as a people.
Zacchaeus described the judgment as a victory for democracy and a victory for the majority of the Kogi masses who voted the governor into office.
The Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Caretaker Chairman, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael has congratulated Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the Court of Appeal.
He said the verdict was sound and succinct, adding that the judgment was a revalidation of the sacred mandate freely given to them by Kogites on November 11, 2023.
He said the court had delivered sound legal and jurisprudent reasoning without any doubt that it was the last hope of the common man that the court verdict had shown that the will of the people was not thwarted.
He described the judgment as a victory for democracy and a victory for the majority of the Kogi masses who voted the governor into office.
“Let’s continue to keep faith with the current APC administration in the state, the Ododo-led government will concentrate more on delivering the Consolidation Agenda to the entire people of Kogi State as outlined in its blueprint,” he said.
The Court of Appeal had on Thursday upheld the election of Ododo in the Nov. 11 gubernatorial poll and dismissed the petitions of SDP candidate, Muritala Ajaka, Mr Yinka Braimoh of the AA and others.
