NYSC Members Fanope Oluwole Lawrence & Olarewaju Elizabeth Boluwatife Give Back: One Waste Bin, Packer, Broom & Notebooks Donated Per Classroom to Osun State Schools as they Launch Environmental Program in Egbedore LGA
On July 4, 2024, two Osun State NYSC serving corps members, Fanope Oluwole Lawrence (OS/23B/5816) and Olarewaju Elizabeth Boluwatife (OS/23B/3860), launched an impressive environmental program across Egbedore Local Government Area. The event, themed “Waste Management and Collection Models in Secondary Schools,” was held at the Egbedore Local Government Secretariat Hall Awo, Osun State, and was attended by students from various schools.
Notably, this is not the first time Corper Lawrence has demonstrated his commitment to the community. Months earlier, he generously paid the school fees of some students, showcasing his dedication to supporting education and youth development.

The Local Government Chairman, represented by Vice Chairman Alhaji Adio Adeyinka, graced the occasion with his presence, alongside L.G Secretary Olagoke Nurudeen, HSO and Director of Admin and General Service Prince Adeyemo, NYSC Local Government Inspector Mrs. Awofisayo Tope, and honourables representing several districts. Other notable attendees included Alawo of Awo palace and Alara of Ara Palace representatives and Environmental CDS president Corper Agboola Oyindamola, who led discussions on effective waste management practices.
The highlight of the event was the distribution of waste bins, packers, and brooms to every school present, along with free exercise notebooks for all attendees. In his remarks, Corper Fanope Oluwole Lawrence emphasized the importance of impacting the community positively and shaping the future through responsible actions. The Local Government appreciated the corps members’ outstanding contributions to community development and presented them with certificates of recognition, acknowledging them as good ambassadors of Egbedore Local Government.
