LOKOJA STAKEHOLDERS HAIL CHIEF ASAJE, DECLARE SUPPORT FOR PROGRESSIVE BASIS
The routine meeting of the Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group held at Liberty Hotels Lokoja with relevant stakeholders from different political parties in a bid to build strong relationship with the people at the grassroot , members had a successful discussion.
The meeting commence with opening prayer by Madam olorunmola Funke Madam …., and a brief introduction,aims and objectives of the group was explicated by Hon Gani from Lokoja axis,a strong member of the group.
The pragmatic National Leader of the Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group, Chief Asaje in his speech, he appreciated the stakeholders from different communities for honoring the invitation despite their tight schedules.
Continuing he said,we are here to make strong relationship with people at the grassroot and discuss on how Kogi West will emerge Governor in Kogi State in no distance time…l will implore everyone to stop playing opposition, overlook the unattractive/cheat and look for the interest of the generality of all, let us team up and succeed together,he said…
Support Governor Ododo government and spread the message…
l have no sympathy for APC/Ibira’s but a reason for our future in Kogi West/Okun extraction…We must reunite, more formidable and work against all barriers that will deneid anyone from Kogi West to occupy the driving seat of the state..
Three (3) years is enough to look inward, resolve indifferences and rally round a single political figure who understands the working of the government, kind, reasonable and genuinely passionate about the well-being of the people…
Hon Ali Mohammed,Hon Adamu, Mohammed Yakubu, Alhaji Tanko Musa among others from Lokoja Korto axis, complained bitterly on how APC /PDP led government in kogi have treated their people… According to them, since in the last 16 years,there are no primary /secondary school in kupa north, south/kangaku communities, what a shameful show of poor leadership…,they said…
Based on this obvious fact,we shall be willing to support anyone from Kogi West Senatorial District to occupy Lugard House,as it will definitely attract more development in Kogi West, hence will resolve to support old kwara’s now like we have always been supportive to the lgalas ,to us this will help Kogi West/Okun extraction to take the Baton from the central… our humble submission…
The ADC zonal women leader , madam Funke Veronica and Hon Ajala are also in attendance… They both thanked Chief Asaje for hosting them all, and urged Hon Leke Abejide to extend his olive arms to Kabba/Lokoja axis in his empowerment programmes, Leke Abejide is a name to recon with in Kogi politics, they added..
Hon Joseph Adeniyi,Hon llujumka David, Usman Salihu,Hon Omofa John,Adamu Alabi to mention few were all in the meeting ..
