As I pen down my thoughts on this significant day, I, Hon. Toyin Esther Afusat Yinusa, the First Daughter of Yagba East LGA and former Vice Chairman, extend my deepest appreciation to the Almighty, the Emperor of the Universe, and to a remarkable leader, mentor, and benefactor, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Governor Bello, the APC leader in Kogi State, stands as my number one political leader and a political juggernaut. His unwavering commitment to youth and gender inclusiveness has set a national example, with more than 35% women participating in Kogi State politics, myself included. It is a testament to his visionary leadership and commitment to building bridges for the younger generation.
I am grateful to my Yagba East APC family, the Yagba East traditional council, and, in particular, my royal fathers – His Royal Majesty Oba Moses Etombi, the Agbana of Isanlu kingdom and Chairman of Yagba East traditional council, and His Royal Majesty Oba Lamidi Folorunsho Ayeni, the Elejuku of Ejuku kingdom. Their fatherly love and support throughout my tenure as the Executive Vice Chairman of Yagba East have been invaluable.
As we express our gratitude, we look forward to the continued progress of Yagba East LGA, Kogi State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. May Governor Yahaya Bello continue to be nourished with excellent wisdom, knowledge, strength, and sound health as he extends his leadership to national politics.
In closing, I say with pride and gratitude, long live Yagba East Local Government Area, long live Kogi State, and long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
