Ododo’s Victory: Engr Joseph Congratulates Governor Elect, Appreciates Gov Bello, Salutes The People Of Yagba West For Delivering 14/14 Wards For APC

The Director General of All Progressive Congress,APC, Ododo -Joel Gubernatorial Campaign Council In Yagba West Local Government Area, Engr. Joseph Olusegun Stephen popularly known as Engr. JOS, congratulates the Kogi State Governor Elect Alhaji Usman Ododo and the deputy governor elect, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo on their resounding victory at the November eleven gubernatorial poll as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The Director General described this victory as a unifying victory. A victory which he said is most deserving.

According to Engr. Joseph, this victory is one that has come with ease and calls for celebration especially as the election process came with no form of violence of any sort. The transparency of this victory is incredible, he noted.

Engr. JOS appreciates the incumbent governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, CON, for his leadership and fatherly roles which further gave every party faithful and concerned stakeholders in the state high level of confidence of victory.

“Your Excellency sir, we can not thank you enough for standing firm in your leadership and fatherly roles before, during and even after this election period. Your confidence, left us with the assurance of victory which we have finally gotten through a free and fair electioneering exercise. Your Excellency, we appreciate you greatly. Indeed, you are a great leader whose kind is rare.”

Also, the Director General applauds the people of Yagba West Local Government Area for breaking the political records of voting massively for the ruling All Progressive Congress to the point of delivering the entire fourteen wards to APC in the just concluded gubernatorial election.

“I am overwhelmed with happiness to see my people coming together in one voice to make a clear statement on the ballot by voting massively for APC. Record has it that Yagba West has never voted in favour of APC in gubernatorial election since the inception of the party in Kogi State. But today, the story has changed because the evidence on ground confirms that Yagba West LGA delivered its entire fourteen wards for APC in the just concluded gubernatorial election. This development gladdens my heart and I must appreciate all critical stakeholders and lover of the All Progressive Congress in Yagba West LGA for this immeasurable support at the poll. Thank you for supporting me as the Director General to coast to a landslide victory for our party and her gubernatorial candidate who is now returned elected, having met with the required demands of the electoral laws.”

In the same vein, Engr. Joseph poured his unreserved gratitude to the traditional rulers in Yagba West under the aegis of Yagba West LGA Traditional Council, chaired by His Royal Highness, Oba Irukera, for their roles in ensuring that peace is maintained by their subjects both before, during and after the electioneering season. He described the existing unity between the traditional and political institutions in Yagba West as “Highly Progressive, Peaceful and Impactful “.

Speaking further, he gave salutation to all independent campaign support groups including the youth, students and women groups in Yagba West LGA for standing tall with the Yagba West APC campaign council under his leadership. He noted that their cooperation and support, can’t be overemphasised while seeking for continuity in the relationship which he said was unifying to the point of attaining a peaceful yet earned victory at the poll.

In conclusion, Engr. Joseph assures the people of the party’s steady support at every point in time, stressing that all of the campaign promises made to the people of Yagba West by the All Progressive Congress during the campaign period, will not be swept under the carpet but will definitely come to fruition. He made this statements yesterday in Lokoja while addressing mammoth crowds who were in celebration of the APC’s victory at his office complex.
