In a remarkable show of support and unity ahead of the November 11, 2023, Governorship Election in Kogi State, Bar. Shaibu Yetunde, a prominent figure in the state’s political landscape, hosted the IFE-OLUKOTUN Women in Lokoja. The gathering was dedicated to seeking the women’s support for the APC Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.

During her address to the IFE-OLUKOTUN Women, Bar. Shaibu Yetunde assured them of the government’s unwavering support at all times if they rally behind Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo and elect him as the Governor of Kogi State in the forthcoming election. She emphasized the importance of their participation and the pivotal role they play in shaping the state’s future.

In addition to her words of encouragement, Bar. Shaibu Yetunde went a step further by providing the women with financial and food support as palliatives. This gesture is aimed at assisting the women during the current challenging economic situation facing the country, showing her commitment to the welfare of the people.

Hon. Mrs. Eunice Olukomogbon, the SSA Voters Education and Registration, who also serves as the Women Coordinator for Yagba East LGA in the Kogi State APC Governorship Campaign Council for ODODO/JOEL2023, and Hajia Maryam Mu’azu, the SSA Women Mobilisation to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, were present at the meeting. They echoed the commitment of the government to ensuring continuous women’s inclusiveness in governance if Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo is elected as the Governor of Kogi State on November 11, 2023.

The gathering and the overwhelming support received by the APC Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, signal a positive trajectory for the party as it heads towards victory in the upcoming election.
