In less than few days to Kogi gubernatorial elections, the Director General of Yagba West LGA APC Ododo-Oyibo Gubernatorial Council, Engr. Joseph Olusegun Stephen popularly known as JOS, has led the campaign council, APC Faithfuls and supporters of Ododo-Oyibo, to flag off the campaign/rally in Yagba West LGA.
Engr. Joseph who rolled out the achievements of the ruling All Progressive Congress in Kogi State, stated that these achievements that are obvious as instituted by His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, The Executive Governor of Kogi State, remains the foundation for which the party prides itself to seek for continuity and consolidation in the November 11 gubernatorial election by voting massively for the flag bearer of the party, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his deputy Comrade Joel Oyibo Salifu on the day of election.
While addressing the sea of heads at the flag off, the DG emphasised on the infrastructural development of the government across the state, citing the Ejiba Rice Mill, General Hospital, Isanlu, College of Education Technical, Mopa, Kogi State University, Kabba, GYB Model Science Schools, General Hospital Gegu Beki amongst other projects as the infrastructural signature of the APC government in Kogi West which continuity in reign will only be the sign of appreciation and gratitude from we the direct beneficiaries to APC in Yagba West LGA, Yagba Federal Constituency, Okun Nation and Kogi West Senatorial District in general.
Engr. Joseph also received new decampees into the APC in their large numbers. Notable among these Decampees are “Yagba West LGA PDP Women leader, Ward 02 Oke-Egbe PDP women leader, Ward 03 Odo-Egbe PDP women leader, Ejiba Ward PDP women leader and their followers in their crowded numbers.
The Director General, as a way of lifting the morales of supporters, campaign council members and faithfuls, donated the sum of ten million Naira (N10,000,000.00) to support the Ododo/Oyibo campaign programs in Yagba West LGA.
The rally had the presence of Hon. Pius Kolawole, Executive Chairman of Yagba West LGA, Hon. Eunice Balogun, Vice Chairman, Yagba West LGA, Hon. Timi Joseph, Former Administrator of Yagba West LGA, the Director General of Kogi West APC Campaign Council, Hon. Funsho Olumoko, The Kogi State Commissioner For Finance, Budget and Economic Planning. Hon. Asiru Idris, Hon. Sesan Orebiyi, Comrade Tade , Chairman, NULGE, Kogi State Chapter, Comr. Jide, NULGE Chairman, Yagba West LGA Chapter, Hon. Adesayo Ismail, Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Otunba Tunji Aro.
