Kogi @32: Engr. Joseph Congratulates Kogites, Extols GYB Excellence

A former Senate Aspirant For Kogi West Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Engr. Joseph Olusegun Stephen otherwise known as Engr. JOS celebrates the 32nd anniversary of the creation of Kogi State.

Engr. Joseph who X-rayed the progress recorded so far in the start, affirms in the positive that truly, Kogi is getting closer to the promised land. He noted that Kogi is a mini Nigeria that is made up of different ethnic and religious groups yet, the unity shared by all as one, makes Kogi a lovely and happy place to be.

The APC chieftain extols the leadership of the incumbent governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. He noted that the deliberate leadership qualities of the governor have aided the progressive journey of the state into being pronounced and known today as “a haven”. A place where insecurity and criminality find it unbearable to dwell.

“I make bold to say today that, Kogi State is one of the safest states in Nigeria today. The Unity bond in the state has further been tightened by the incumbent administration and this calls for celebration”.

Today, we are celebrating 32 years of gradual growth and visible development in the state. One can easily and convincingly say that the Kogi of today, is far better than the Kogi of yesterday, This according to Engr Joseph, is a gradual transition to a greater Kogi.

“I congratulate Kogites for this feat attained as a people, and I congratulate the administrations before now and the incumbent as well for the efforts put together in driving Kogi to this very Kogi of our today. It is no individual efforts but collective efforts that have brought us this far. Therefore, I urge us all to keep grinding believing strongly that we will someday get to the Kogi we have all desired”.

Again, Engr. Joseph showers praises on Governor Yahaya Bello for laying to rest the issue of ethnic and tribal sentiments and placing all as one without particular preference for anyone against another. He revealed that this singular act can only be done by a brave, fearless, and deliberate leader.

Engr. Joseph finally admonished everyone to get working for the task ahead in the building of the Kogi of our dream is not a thing to be done by a particular individual but collective efforts are required to get it done and achieved.
