Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu 2023: Why Olobatoke Micheal Olaiya, OMO, Deserves To Represent Us
Elections into the House of Representatives are one of the most crucial decisions to be taken by voters of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election. This is because the green chamber is an arm of government that directly represents the grassroots nationally and serves as checks and balances of the other arms of govt, especially the executive.

As a result of this, it’s imperative to note that the people you elect into these positions are people that understand what it means to truly and genuinely represent the people while upholding the constitution to the benefit of their constituents and to the country at large.
OMO, has fondly called by the people, has demonstrated that he loves his people at heart. He has severally shown capacity and competence in any given task to bring to bear success. His emergence as the PDP Rep candidate at the party primary did not come as a surprise to many, going by his antecedents, capabilities, goodwill, and popularity among the good people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu and beyond.

It will interest the hardworking people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu to know that OMO has set out his blueprint which covers critical areas of our national life as a people. Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu deserves a paradigm shift from the old order.
Instructively, OMO intends to capture purposeful areas of interest with a focus on education, health care, agriculture, and sustainable empowerment for women, elders, and youths to “take so many of our youths off the streets and begin to give more of our people economic power.”
Olaiya Michael Olobatoke has a wide range of contacts and network in several govt ministries, agencies, and departments both at federal and most parts of the country, as well as private establishments which he has been exploring positively with all opportunities and advantages therein, to secure employment opportunities and other pensionable jobs for several sons and daughters of Kabba,-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency and Okun land in general. OMO is humble, accessible, and homey, this is evident in all his doing. More reason, he has an appreciable level of support across party lines within our constituency.
Notably, OMO does not discriminate, he sees every part of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu as his home. In fact, his record of achievements, support, and philanthropism over the years has shown that OMO is for all. Therefore, we urge our people to dismiss all sentiment and primordial ethnic coloration and vote massively for PDP- *OMO*
OMO as the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate for House of Reps 2023, he is the most experienced and most prepared to serve among all the candidates. He understands the rudiments and workings of the legislative arm and knows how to tap all opportunities to our benefit. His preparedness coupled with great political exposure and experience to negotiate a better deal for the good people of our constituency if elected would stand him in good stead at the National Assembly.
Basically, the nation needs bold, upright men of great character with the capacity and competence to legislate on national issues and policy as a lawmaker, and OMO is one of them. No doubt, he is prepared to move pro-masses motions and sponsor bills that will have a direct positive impact on the lives of our people and Nigerians. If voted as the next Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu house of representatives member, he will carry out his legislative duties and function diligently and use his office to lobby and dialogue with others to attract govt presence, infrastructures, and development to our constituency.
Most of the time, we see people complain about the process at the National level, but only a few are ready to take up the challenge of running by putting in their personal resources for the benefit of their people. But with a candidate like OMO, who is very vibrant, committed, and ready to contribute meaningfully and positively to the lives of our people, there would be development in our people and the country at large.
Finally, with the knowledge, experience, and exposure to OMO, his Idea of empowerment is not just to give money, and buy people items alone,but to establish them, to create a wealth sustaining system, so that within his four years, a lot of our people must have been self-sufficient and sustainable.
