According to a recent statement credited to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) through its Chairman on Media and Publicity Mr. Festus Okoye, that there would be no going back on the Edo governorship election date scheduled to hold on September 19 2020.
Advanced Nigeria Democratic Party (ANDP) has since continued to step up its readiness for the election. One of which the state chapter has published the names of it’s 18 Local Government Chairmen.

He said, since the party escaped the de-registration exercise carried out by INEC in February this year, the party leaders had since been working tirelessly to ensure that ANDP actively participates in the 2020 Edo State Governorship elections.
