Your Excellency Sir,
RE-CONSIDER FAIRNESS, JUSTICE AND EQUITY IN THE FORTHCOMING LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION OVER CHOICE OF CANDIDATE IN MOPAMURO LGA.
YOUR EXCELLENCY Sir, we are left with no choice other than writing a rejoinder to the open letter written to you by one Mr. Tope Moses on behalf of Odole Youth Council.
Your Excellency Sir, without any form of hallucination, we will like to be straight forward with our points which contradict the submission of the Odole Youth Council as highlighted in their open letter to you sir.
First and foremost sir, we want to commence our own write-up by harnessing how elective positions and political appointments have been held in Odole Axis of Mopa over the years since the creation of Mopamuro LGA till date.
Below are the details of the people who have been elected and appointed to various positions in Odole Axis alone
1. Hon Folorunsho Oloke, H/Assembly, Ward 02 Odole (Elected)
2. Dr Ade John, Commissioner, For Health, Ward 01 Odole (Appointed)
3. Bar. Shola Ojo, House of Representatives.- Ward 01, Odole (Elected)
4.Chief Olu Ezekiel Executive Chairman originated from Ward 02 Odole. (Elected)
5. Barr. Sola Ojo, SSG, Ward 01, Odole (Appointed)
6. Chief C. O Olafemi, House of Assembly, Ward 02, Odole (Elected)
7. Chief C. O Olafemi, House of Assembly/ Speaker, Ward 02, Odole Axis. (Elected)
8. Chief C.O Olafemi, Actg Governor, Ward 02, Odole Axis (Appointed)
9. Mrs. Bolanle Amupitan
S.A W/Affairs. ward 02 Odole Axis (Appointed)
10. Mrs. Bolanle Amupitan, Commissioner For W/Affairs. Ward 02, Odole Axis. (Appointed).
In reference to the above sir, Hon. Olu Ezekiel has always been said to be from Ileteju, but the fact remains that, he is from Araromi, ward 02, in Odole Axis (From Iyalojo/ Alesoko Clan). Meanwhile, during his election, the only opponent he had was Chief Folorunsho Olugboye, who is from Ward 01 in Odole Axis, based on the fact that it was to be produced by Odole Axis.
Your Excellency Sir, by vatue of the strength of the above positions, the House of Representatives can give birth to five (5) Local Government Chairmen, apart from the fact that He rules over three (3) Chairmen, (Yagba West, East and Mopamuro LGAs) respectively.
Your Excellency Sir, the same Odole Axis were not too happy with the way they conceded the positions of S. A. And Commissioner for Women Affairs to Your Excellency conxecutively to a non indigin by birth and marriage respectively.
To this end sir, Your Excellency, we believe in your fairness and equity nature, to look into the above highlight and our submissions stands to be thoroughly crutinized.
Your Excellency Sir, kindly consider our plights in this matter and maintain your stand on the candidature of of Our Son, Hon Moses Sunday David for the Chairmanship election.
Your Excellency Sir, we made bold to say that, Ileteju Axis have been marginalized over the years in terms of positions sharing in Mopa Axis, until when you came on board and commence with your balancing ideologies which brings us (Ileteju Axis) a bit close to Odole Axis.
On this note your Excellency Sir, we want to appreciate your God fearing measures since the inception of your New Direction Administration. We say a very big thank you sir. And we sincerely pray that Almighty Allah will always guide and guard every steps you take.
Your Excellency Sir, we therefore pledge our utmost Loyalty at all times.
