MUKADAM ASIWAJU ASIRU IDRIS, FCA FELICITATES WITH ALL GRADED AND UPGRADED TRADITIONAL RULERS IN YAGBA LAND
The Honourable Commissioner of Finance,Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA has expressed great joy and heart of felicitation to all the newly graded and upgraded traditional rulers across the length and breath of Kogi state, especially those from yagba Federal constituency.
Asiwaju discribed the traditional rulers as critical stakeholders to the Greater Kogi state the new direction administration led by His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello is building, hence, the imperative need to accord them their due respect, benefit and pride of place.
In his words ” All the graded and upgraded Obas have been found to be worthy in character, conduct and pro-people leadership style which aligns perfectly well with the progressive ideology that thrives at the state level. He however, charged the traditional rulers to continually play the ombudsman role to engender peace, equity, unity and prosperity in their various communities, as a way of complementing the excellent work Governor Yahaya Bello is doing in the state.
He said, their wealth of experience, native intelligence, tested wisdom and repository of knowledge is greatly needed to maintain peace and orderliness, strengthen the security of lives and properties and soar up development in their various domains,therefore, they must live up to expectations as a way of leveraging on the trust and confidence reposed in them by the state Government and at large their subjects.
The Honourable Commissioner expressed gratitude to his principal and leader, His Excellency,Governor Yahaya Bello for the love and respect shown to the traditional institution in Kogi state, saying they have never had it so good in their annals, but your exceptional leadership strides had provided the unimaginable turn around. Without micing words, you are an Essential GYB with limitless greatness.
Once again, I delightfully congratulate all the royal fathers who are beneficiaries of the New Direction touch cum promotion, prays that God Almighty will grant them the needed impetus, sound mind, wherewithal, long life and divine wisdom to pilot their traditional jurisdiction to a Greater pedestal.
