Dear Kogi Workers,
It is with great pleasure that I write to felicitates with you as you mark your day
The day is set aside not just to celebrate your contributions to the overall development of the State but to also inspire and encourage you to do more
May I also remind you that without you there is no Government because you are the engine on which the government moves and operates on
Therefore, as you mark this all important day , I encourage you to rededicate your lives to the service of this great state and Nigeria at large, shun corruption and other vices that are inimical to the growth of our economy and be good ambassadors because you are a sine qua non for speedy and effective execution of government policies
I am not unaware of your challenges but there are significant improvements in your remuneration and total well being courtesy of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led administration in the State
Be rest assured that there are better days ahead. With your dedication, and efficient service delivery, we will indeed achieve a better workforce
While I promise on my part to ensure that the good people of Yagba West Local Government are on the part of sustainable development to achieve the much desired growth that accrues from good and purpose driven governance just like my counterparts at other LGAs in Kogi State
I am also aware that our dear state Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on whose mandate we are solidifying has always made workers his administration’s priority and with your help and support, we shall achieve more
