Ijumu Caretaker Chairman Continues Familiarization Visits in Iluagba Gbede, Promises Host Community of Getting Benefits From Company

The Transition Caretaker Chairman Ijumu Local Government Area, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna popularly known as DSTV and his entourage was On Tuesday 6th, February, 2024, visited the Iluagba Gbede in continuation of his familiarization visit.

The caretaker Chairman Ijumu LGA was received by Executive and supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and well-wishers in the community.

First point of call was the palace of the Oba of Iluagba Gbede, HRH. Oba David Samuel St his palace.

While receiving the transition caretaker Chairman Ijumu Local Government Area and his entourage, the Kabiyesi praised the Chairman and his members for rebuilding the local government and inculcating moral values in the local government.

Oba Samuel enjoined the Chairman and his team not to relent in their efforts in moving the local government forward.

The Transition Caretaker Chairman Ijumu LGA, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna was also profusely grateful to the Kabiyesi for the enthusiastic reception given to him and his entourage in his palace.

He observed that the royal father received them the way he would “welcome his own children and indeed we are children of Kabiyesi”

The caretaker Chairman on behalf of the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, thanked the Kabiyesi and his Chiefs for their maximum support during and after the last Governorship election held in November 11th, 2023, that saw the victory’s of our great party APC.

The caretaker Chairman enjoyed the traditional rulers and the community to be very vigilant, saying with the present of cement factory in the community, adequate measure should be put in places to ascertain the numbers of people migrating to the communities and their full identity, in order to reduce the crime rate in their domain.

The caretaker Chairman further promised to put in places adequate security measures to protect the lives and property of every citizens residing in Ijumu Local government Area.

In a similar situation, The Kabiyesi led the transition caretaker Chairman Ijumu LGA and his team to the new site where the community relocated to.

He, however, promised to do anything within his powers to ensure that the host community enjoy their social benefits from the company.
