Your Appointment Is A Reward of Utmost Loyalty and Hard Work, Ijumu Caretaker Chairman Congratulates Kogi SSG
The Caretaker Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim has joined well-meaning Kogites and Nigerians to congratulate Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Ayoade Arike, Secretary to the Government of Kogi State on her re-appointment by the State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Recall that the re-appointment of Dr. Ayoade was announced by Governor Ahmed Ododo shortly after his inauguration as the fifth Executive Governor of the State.
The Caretaker Chairman, in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists on Thursday in Lokoja, the State Capital, described the re-appointment as well deserved and a reward for dexterity, absolute loyalty and hard work.
According to him, the SSG as the engine room of government used her wealth of experience to add value to the immediate past administration, saying she is a trusted technocrat.
He noted that for the past eight years, Dr. Ayoade has been the only Female SSG in the 19 northern states and praised the reward mechanism put in place by the All Progressives Congress (APC) system in Kogi State.
He commended the immediate past Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for appointing a female SSG in his first and second tenures, pointing out that her re-appointment is a clear indication that Governor Ododo is following the footsteps of his predecessor, particularly in the area of women inclusion in governance.
Alhaji Haruna further expressed optimism that the SSG will live above board in the discharge of her assignments, given her track record of public service.
