PRESIDENTIAL SPEECH AND UNVEILING OF NAOS NATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR 2024 BY COMRADE OMONIYI EMMANUELLA OMOLARA THE NATIONAL PRESIDENT NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF OKUN STUDENTS
It is with all humility and a heart full of gratitude to God Almighty, Stakeholders, Okun Students and our most respected fathers and mothers for the support given to us to have a successful NAOS National Convention.
The NAOS National Executives and Senate Arm under my leadership as the President is prepared and set to come up with programmes that will bring about Love, Unity, Promotion of Culture and Education, and above all developmental projects that will give NAOS National the required development the Noble Association deserves .
NAOS National is an Association that many people have served and put in their best to ensure it does not die and grow to an enviable stage.
Under my leadership we will ensure we consolidate on the achievements of the past leaders and also add our own quota to the development of the Association.
All this cannot be achieved without the support of our past leaders who have served NAOS National in various capacities , our own reputable sons and daughters of Okun Land that God has blessed, Students from Okun Land in the various institutions all over the world .
Your support will take us a long way in achieving our aims and objectives .
The line up programmes and projects our administration will be embarking on are as follows:
- Scholarships/ Bursary for Okun Students
- Okun Sport Festival
- Pad the girl/ Orentation on unwanted sex and prevention of infections
- Building of National Sectariat that will be named NAOS UNITY HOUSE
- Okun Students Foundation (OSF)
- Acquiring Mobility for NAOS Executive and Senate Arm
- Miss Okun beauty Pageant/ Okun Cultural day
- Free Jamb Registration for Okun Indigenes
- Visitation of the National Secretariat to Local Chapters of NAOS in various institutions across the Country.
- Seminars and Sensitisation programs for the Students that will be done in different higher institution.
More of the NAOS National activities will be unveiled as we progress in our administration and we will be looking forward to everyone supports and cooperation.
Once again Happy New Year to the sons and daughters of Okun Land and I pray this year will usher in great achievements in Okun Land .
