Commissioning of massive projects in Kogi, Gbemi Samuel Commends Governor Yahaya Bello

A strong supporter and follower of Alhaji Isah Taufiq in Aiyetoro Gbede, Mr Gbemi Samuel has poured encomiums on Governor Yahaya Bello on the commissioning of massive projects in different sectors of the State by President Muhammadu Buhari last week and described infrastructural development as monumental.

According to him, the APC Government led by Governor Yahaya Bello has not disappointed the electorate considering the quality of the projects especially the Reference Hospital, Okene which will attract hundreds of patients across the globe because of the 21st century technologically driven equipment that is readily available at the hospital.

He also noted the brand new University in Osara, Ganaja flyover, Muhammadu Buhari Square, GYB Modern Science Secondary School that is been replicated across the three senatorial districts in the state, are tangible dividends of democracy. He stressed that Alhaji Isah Taufiq did not make a mistake in following AYB from the beginning in 2015.

He described ALGON Chairman as a devoted Muslim who fear God and whose contributions to the development of the state will not be limited to this administration alone being the heir of an astute politician, mobilizer and community builder of note, pointing out that he is not surprised at his conduct considering the antecedents of his parents, especially the mother especially.

He said Alhaji Taufiq has made friends across the state right from his days as a Member of Ijumu Legislative Council from the point he kicked start his political career, noting that he will work with other stakeholders and will not disappoint the ruling All Progressive Congress in the forthcoming General Elections in Ijumu Local Government Area.

Gbemi said Governor Yahaya Bello has written his name in gold because he remains the only Governor in Nigeria that over seventy percentage of his appointees are youths, a feat no other Governor has made, aside the women engagement which surpass the regular 35% affirmative action.
He further stressed that if the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria allowed it, he would have asked Governor Yahaya Bello to re-contest for the third term in office with Alhaji Isah Taufiq enjoying the same privilege because of their track records
