keeps crawling round the country, with Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and Abuja reporting cases of confirmed patients with the virus, it was revealed by the Vice President’s aide, Laolu Akande (Special Assistant on Media and Publicity) that the vice president is in self isolation in accordance with the protocols of Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Laolu Akande tweeted on his official handle that, “VP Osinbajo yesterday at the office conducted his meetings via video conferencing, while observing social distancing. Today, he continues his work from the home office, as he is in self-isolation in accordance with NCDC protocols”
Reports on Tuesday has it that the President’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, tested positive. Meanwhile, reports have it that the Presidential Task Force on coronavirus led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, was on an inspection visit to the Villa on Tuesday.
When quizzed on whether some members of the state house has tested positive of the virus, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed was tight lipped and disclosed that he won’t give names as it’s a global practice to keep such information hidden.
