Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr. Segun Dawodu has urged youths in the state to observe necessary precautions in the face of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
He said that the state government is aware that various preventive measures rolled out by authorities to curb the spread of the virus may have affected the youth population, especially those who rely on daily earnings for their livelihood.
The Commissioner called for the cooperation and involvement of everyone especially the youth to contain the deadly virus.
He said: “We appeal to every youth to adhere to the instructions being given regarding this Covid19 . The life of our youths is precious to us and we are doing everything possible as a state government to ensure the safety of everyone.
“ We need the youth to help the government through total compliance. We need the youth to sacrifice immediate pleasure in order to save the nation from a bigger calamity.
