KOSIEC VISITS DEPARTMENT OF STATE SERVICES(DSS)
The State Electoral Umpire, Hon. Mamman Nda Eri, the Secretary , Hon.Ozovehe, John Enesi and two other electoral commissioners paid a courtesy visit to the Department of State Service (DSS) Office earlier today, the 8th of April, 2020 with the aim of fostering a very strategic relationship in the area of security which is pivotal to any hitch free election across the state.
The Director, State Security Service in his response promised to assist the commission in terms of security for all the citizens towards a hitch free and successful elections. He however, advised that there should be transparency in the discharge of the Commission’s assigned responsibilities.
In an appreciation to the promises made by the director, the chairman of the Commission however, informed him that a tentaive time-table and the estimated budget of the election have been drawn and with the hope that as soon as the COVID-19 Pandemic that has paralysed all activities in the state subsided, the whole electoral processes will be rolled out and the good citizens of the state will be availed the date for the council election.
