RAMADAN: ALUMO, THE SSA ON SECURITY MATTERS FOR MOPAMURO LGA CALLS FOR EXPRESSION OF LOVE AND PRAYERS.
The Senior Special Assistant on Security Matters in charge of Mopamuro Local Government Area, Hon. Moses Sunday David have congratulated Muslims in the Local Government for witnessing the beginning of the month of Ramadan, urging that they should use the period to move closer to Allah.
The SSA in his Ramadan message to Muslims in mopamuro, Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole through his media Aides, urged that the period should be used by all Muslims to pray for the country in general and the Local Government in particular admonishing Ramadan with best practices and share love with fellow Muslims and neighbours.
” I am aware our Muslim brothers have been told that they would not be able to gather together for tafsir, iftar and tarawih prayers during the month long Ramadan, due to the restrictions brought upon us all by the COVID – 19 pandemic.
” I enjoin you all to see this as a reflection of the sober mood the world has been thrown into due to the pandemics “,he said .
Moses, further admonished Muslims to tune their minds to the messages of love, brotherliness and peaceful coexistence inherent in the messages of Holy prophet, while also being their brothers keepers.
