NYCN EDO STATE RAMADAN MESSAGE.

As Muslims worldwide begins the season of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran, an annual observance regarded as one of the five pillars of Islam. The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Edo State joins in wishing Muslims in Edo state, especially the youths Ramadan Mubarak.
The council urges it’s Muslim members and Edo youth in general to use the season of the holy month to engage in the acts of charity, prayer, self reflection, sacrifice, devotion and renewed strength.
We categorically appeal to our Muslim colleagues for special prayers to end the ravaging Covid-19 pandemic. And as regular prayers should continue, we urge that all Covid-19 preventive guidelines by the appropriate government agencies be fully put into practice this period.
Our Muslim brethren are asked to sustain the noble ways that had endeared them to almighty God. We implore them all to show love to their neighbors no matter how little at this challenging period of the pandemic ravaging the entire world.
The NYCN in Edo prays for a peaceful and successful Ramadan as well.
