Kabba/Bunu LGA Authority Orders All Filling Stations Within The Local Government To Stop Selling Fuel In Jerrycans And Mischievously Redesigned Fuel Tanks In Vehicles
In a bid to cut off the Chain of supply of economic and Security saboteurs, the Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael has issued an order prohibiting the sale of fuel to Jerry cans and mischievously Redesigned Fuel Tanks in Vehicles
He strongly warns that, any fueling station found violating the directives will be dealt with decisively.
The Chairman directed all Petroleum Stations within Kabba/Bunu LGA to desist from selling fuel in jerry cans, drums and mischievously redesigned fuel tanks in vehicles, noted that these measures are necessary to cut off the logistics and supply chain of saboteurs and enablers of criminal activities in the local government area.
Zacchaeus urged all residents to remain calm, vigilant and report suspicious individuals and movement of persons to Security agencies, as the move is to curb insecurity and maintain law and order in the area.
He said the prohibition of sales of fuel to individuals in jerry cans is designed to prevent the diversion of fuel into unauthorized channels, most especially criminal hideouts.
Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael direct stations, to sell only to credible individuals of well known identity which should not exceed ten (10) litres for home use and small scale businesses.
He appreciates the Security agencies for their resilience and assured them of his administration’s commitment to safeguarding lives, restoring peace, and preventing any form of breakdown of law and order in the LGA.
