TESTAMENT AND TESTIMONIAL OF A LEGISLATIVE DREAM

Those who believe that the Nigeria national assembly can effectively deliver qualitative legislation/oversight functions in a way that promotes service delivery and a better standards of living for the good people of Kabba bunu /ijumu federal constituency can proudly point at Barrister David Shola Aiyedogbon (Charvid), whom experts have described as a perfect example of a social reformer advocate and a bridge builder.

John C.Maxwell said, “Real leadership is being the person others will gladly and confidently follow.”

Maxwell’s postulation above simply describes David Shola Aiyedogbon (Charvid) , the man the people of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency of Kogi State are today massively angling to have as their  Representative at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly come 2023.

Since his emergence in the political scene, he has left no one in doubt as to his vision and mission in public service, clearly anchored on service to the people of the Constituency and to humanity.

Beyond his ability in giving an asitute  representation, one secret that has kept Charvid endeared to to the heart and soul of his people is in his constant keeping in touch with the people at grassroots.

Politicians must learn and adhere to this model if they desire to leave good legacies as representatives of the people.

Charvid as a successful entrepreneur, an astute politician and administrator of repute, a boardroom guru with a wealth of experience also has proven record of successes  in public service and business management. 

CHARVID as he is fondly called by his people has received several recognition and accolades in Nigeria and abroad for his impact in the society, but the reward for his excelling contributions for the betterment of the society and indeed his  people is not just in his humane disposition that dots around him everywhere he goes, both within and outside the Constituency, but in his seeing the less privileged, the weak and the less privileged cared for, beliefs in equity on wealth distribution, supporting the youths build back their economic and social life are some of the projects that fire up his passion, extremely dear to his heart

He is hardworking, innovative as well as a tremendous grassroots social and Political mobiliseer.

He attaches much premium to his relationship with others, regardless of their class.

He treats whoever he meets with respect and love, and does not underestimate anyone irrespective of social status, age, religion or ethnic affiliations.

Charvid is a man who does not care to know what part of the local government or state one comes from as long as their paths crosses in his humane relationship.

He spreads his tentacles of kindness and generosity to even people outside his constituency, acts of benevolence to whoever needs his assistance. 

Such detribalised individual makes the society a better place to live in making his people highly justified in asking him to yield to their demand to come out and contest the election.

As a bridge-builder, he is not only a man of peace, he also upholds the philosophy of sharing love among the people, he is someone who could mediate peace in any dispute by not just bringing humour but also shows  light, direction and engagement, he is of a calm, well-refined and highly detribalised personality.

Political associates, friends numerous and notable personalities across his Constituency believes that his competence, capacity ,strengths, willingness and zeal as already been identified is a great advantage in his world view.

Majority of the masses are of the opinion that  Charvid is the right man that the house of representatives cap accurately fits to represent the good people of Kabba bunu /ijumu federal constituency come 2023 because of his integrity, and the zeal to prosecute constituency project down to every communities across our constituencies.
