Commander Omodara Rejoices with Muslim Faithfuls, Seeks Sustenance of Peace and Progress of the State

The State Security Adviser to Kogi State Government, Commander Duro Jerry Omodara (Rtd) has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls across the country on the celebration of the 2021 Eid-el-Kabir festival.

Omodara, who described festival as a means of connecting with God and viable tool for achieving peace in any society, urged Muslims to use the occasion of the festival to pray for the peace, progress and development of the Country.

“This is a season of love, promise keeping and good deeds. Let us sustain these kind gestures and create the great Nigeria of our dream”, he said.

He as well charged that in the course of the celebrations, people should be conscious of their environments as people of devilish intentions might capitalise or take any available advantage to perpetrate their evil intentions.

He enjoined the masses to report any suspicious behaviours /movements that may be detrimental to the peace and security of lives and properties in their immediate environments, to the security agencies.

Omodara prayed for many more celebrations.
