KOGI STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR DONATES A HOUSE TO THE MOTHER OF LATE DR IDOWU VICTOR AHMAD

As part of events to mark his 47th Brithday, His Excellency Chief (Dr) Edward Onoja has presented a house to the mother of the deceased Doctor, Dr Victor Idowu Ahmed who died in service to his Country, from Lassa fever in 2018. I was honoured to have presented the key to the house to her on behalf of His Excellency the Deputy Governor.

Similarly, the State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello, has directed that all members of the family of the deceased Doctor be captured under the Bello Care segment of the State Health Insurance Scheme.

This act of goodwill further exemplifies the habit of this New Direction Administration to reward excellence and dedication to service.

We particularly find such kind gesture to a member of the medical profession who paid the ultimate price in servitude to the State a welcomed development worthy of praise for it stands to boost the morale of our entire Health Workers who will realise how dear they are in the heart of this administration.

The medical world will be deeply pleased by this action, a show of good faith in recognition of selfless services being rendered by health professionals.

I also wish to use this opportunity to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to His Excellency Chief (Dr) Edward David Onoja, wishing him many happy returns and all the good things of life.

Dr Saka Haruna Audu
Honourable Commissioner.
