Hon Wemi Jones FCIB Joins Critical Stakeholders to Condole with Obaro of Kabba on Wife’s Demise
The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Hon Wemi Jones FCIB, joined the Deputy Governor, royal fathers, and other critical stakeholders to pay a condolence visit to the Obaro of Kabba, HRM Oba Dele Owoniyi, following the passing of his wife, Olori Mary Ige Owoniyi.
During the visit, the Deputy Governor and the team offered their condolences and delivered a message from Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo, expressing heartfelt sympathy to the Royal Father and the Kabba community. They prayed for strength and comfort for the Royal house during this difficult time.
In a separate visit, the team also extended their condolences to the former council chairman of Kabba-Bunu LGA, Hon Funsho Olorunfemi, popularly known as “Funso Otu” who also lost his wife recently.
The gestures of support from Hon Wemi Jones FCIB and other stakeholders demonstrate the unity and compassion within the Kogi State community during times of loss and mourning. The Obaro of Kabba and Hon Funsho Olorunfemi were appreciative of the visits and the outpouring of love and solidarity from their fellow leaders and community members.
