Kabba Bunu Council Chairman Orders immediate closure of Zango Market in Odolu, Kabba
The Kabba Bunu Council Chairman, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael has ordered the immediate closure of Zango Market in Odolu, Kabba.
The Council Chairman, in a statement issued to Newsmen, hinged the closure to incessant attack by Fulani herdsmen, banditry and kidnapping.
The statement unequivocally warned Fulani’s dislodged from Zango, not to make any attempts of coming to Kabba Bunu territory, pointing out that their actions would be met with stiff resistance and legal actions.
The statement further warned Traditional Rulers who are in the habit of giving out Land to Fulani’s and unknown strangers, said they stand being dethroned and prosecuted.
Similarly, area Chief’s, the statement notes who are in the habit of compromising the security of their area, by selling their lands and Houses to unknown strangers, would be arrested and prosecuted for aiding and abbetting terrorism.
The Statement concluded by asking anyone who wants to sale his House in Kabba Bunu LGA, urged to get approval from the Council, with the bio-data of person wanting to buy the property supplied to the Kabba Bunu Local Government Council.
The Statement warned that anyone found in contravention, would be arrested and prosecuted for aiding and abbetting terrorism.
