Kabba/Bunu LGA Legislative Council: Hon (Mrs.) Comfort Olufunke Obaromi Lauds Gov. Ododo For Early Payment Of December Salary
The Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area Legislative Council Leader, Hon (Mrs) Comfort Olufunke Obaromi says the administration of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo has ushered in an era of a good dawn for workers in the State, commended Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the prompt payment of salaries to Civil Servants in the State.
The Council Leader gave the commendations in a statement on Monday, while reacting to recent payment of salary and pensions to workers and pensioners in Kogi State.
Hon Comfort Olufunke Obaromi described Governor Ododo as a focused, dedicated, and well determined leader who wants the best for the People of Kogi State.
The development, according to the council leader, is the first of its kind and has proved nay sayers wrong about Governor Ododo’s disposition and unwavering commitment to the welfare of workers and the senior citizens.
Hon (Mrs.) Comfort Olufunke Obaromi said the Council, on behalf of workers, is full of appreciation and prayers for the Governor for his attempt to make the festive season seamless for all and pledged their continued support to the success of the present administration and its workers-friendly policies.
She expressed hope that the talk and do Governor will soon direct the implementation of all outstanding promotions and emoluments with cash backing.
Comfort who called on workers to continue in their unflinching support for the Governor Ododo-led administration as better days lies ahead, felicitates with all on occasion of the festive season calling for a show of love and modest celebration.
While urging the Governor of the State to sustain his good work since taking over the mantle of leadership in January, Comfort says no doubt he is writing his name in gold, we want him to sustain this good work that he is doing for our State. For the first time, workers received their monthly wage before the 15th of December.
