Iyara Anglican Secondary School ’92 Alma Mater’s Reunion -Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim Praised members for Sustentation, charges for more Commitment in key areas
Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna on Saturday 8th Dec. graced the 2024 annual Reunion of 1992 alumni set of Iyara Anglican Secondary School (IASS), The gathering served as a platform for reconnecting with old classmates, friends and teachers while providing an avenue for development and support for the school community.
Alhaji Ibrahim commended the alumni for maintaining their bonds of friendship and contributing significantly to the school’s progress over the years. He applauded their commitment to giving back to their alma mater. He also urged the group to engage with current students through interactive programs aimed at promoting discipline and addressing the growing challenges of moral decadence.
Reaffirming his support, the Chairman pledged to assist the group in any future initiatives they undertake.
Hon. Ibiyeye Henry (Peperity), the Chief of Staff to the Chairman and also an alumnus of the school, encouraged the group to prioritize the welfare of their former teachers as a way of showing appreciation for their dedication.
The leadership of the 1992 set expressed gratitude for the Chairman’s inspiring presence and acknowledged his remarkable leadership in transforming Ijumu Local Government. They offered prayers for his continued success and guidance in governance.
