Groundbreaking Ceremony of Police Base in Ekirin-Adde: Alhaji Haruna Extends Governor’s Appreciation to Nigeria Police Trust Fund

The Executive Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has expressed profound appreciation to the Nigeria Police Trust Fund for its significant contributions to enhancing the state’s security architecture. Represented by the Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim, at the groundbreaking ceremony of the new police base in Ekirin-Adde, the Governor acknowledged the Trust Fund’s professionalism and timely execution of the project under the leadership of Executive Secretary Alhaji Femi Seidu.

Governor Ododo reiterated his administration’s commitment to collaborating with the Trust Fund to replicate similar developmental projects in other parts of the state.

During the event, Alhaji Haruna described Governor Ododo as a servant leader dedicated to addressing the needs of the people and transforming the state in an enviable manner. He commended the Governor’s consistent efforts to ensure the safety and security of lives and property in Kogi State.

“In Kogi State, we have community hunters, the Kogi State Vigilante Service (KVS), and other local security outfits that have been actively recruited and supported by the state government,” Alhaji Haruna stated.

He also recognized the vital role played by the traditional council in strengthening local security. Their collaborative efforts with the state government and local security outfits have significantly improved the safety and well-being of the people within Ijumu Local Government and beyond.
