Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael Congratulates RT Hon Mrs Comfort Olufunke Obaromi As Kogi State Council Leaders Forum’s Chairperson
The Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael has described the emergence of Hon Comfort Olufunke Obaromi as the Chairperson of the Kogi State Council Leaders’ Forum, as an indication of degree of confidence reposed in her by her colleagues.
The chairman stated this in a congratulatory statement issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Omofa John. “Rt Hon Comfort Olufunke Obaromi choice was by consensus, indicating her acceptability, leadership capability and experience,” the chairman said.
The election was held after a conference in the capital city of Kogi State, Lokoja, yesterday.
He urged the new chairperson to see her election as a unique opportunity to forge a deeper harmonious and fruitful working relationship not only with the State Government, but also with other arms and tiers of government.
The Chairman, while wishing Hon Comfort Olufunke Obaromi a successful tenure, said that he is happy on the fact that the sacrifices and selfless service being rendered by my council leader is being recognized and reciprocated by her colleagues.
He added that “RT Hon Mrs Comfort Olufunke Obaromi is an epitome of humility, resilience and dedicated public servant, describing her as a trustworthy and dependable associate.
“On behalf of the management and the good people of Kabba/Bunu LGA, we extend our felicitations to you for this great success and opportunity to contribute more to state building. We also commend your colleagues for once again trusting you to represent them.”
According to the Chairman, “Council Leader of Kabba/Bunu LGA, RT Hon Mrs Comfort Olufunke Obaromi is a woman of destiny. I wasn’t surprised about her victory because I know how versatile and patriotic she is. Her colleagues made the right choice and I thank them most sincerely.”
The Chairman after praying for a successful reign, urged her to redouble her efforts in bringing development and prosperity to her constituency and the State at large.
