The executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government along side Hon. Omotayo Ishaya Member representing Ijumu state Constituency on Friday 6th, Met with the management team of Mangal Cement Plant to discuss strategies for fostering economic and communal growth. The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration between the plant and local communities to drive mutual benefits. Key areas of discussions includes Job creation, infrastructure development, and sustainable practices to ensure the plant’s operations positively impact the surrounding area.
The discussions laid emphasis on the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, with a shared commitment to uplifting local livelihoods and addressing community needs. This strategic engagement is aimed at strengthening public-private partnerships for the purpose of achieving a long-term economic and social progress for the Local Government.
