Join Hands With Govt To Promote Peace, Security – Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael Tells Traditional ruler
The Executive Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael has appealed to traditional rulers in the local government area to continue to support the government to promote peace, security and the overall development of the state.
Zacchaeus made this declaration on Sunday, during a thank you visit to the palace of the Elesho of Kabba, Oba J. J Oloruntoba.
Some of the dignitaries at the event included Secretary to the local government, Hon Sunday Ojo; Chief of Staff, Hon Emmanuel Aiyeditan; APC Kabba/Bunu LGA Secretary, Hon Charles Olorunmaiye; APC chieftain, Hon (Barr.) Funsho Boluromi; local government appointees and other councilors.
The Chairman implored the traditional ruler to work closely with the government to address pressing issues in his domain.
“I am here to say thank you for all the support and prayers before, during and after my election and in furtherance of my “Restoration” agenda we must prioritize the well-being of the citizens of Kabba/Bunu LGA.
He said his assignment is to ensure adequate security of lives and property.
“The traditional institution and government authorities must join forces to promote security and overall development. We have to tell you, the people of Kabba/Bunu LGA, that there can never be growth in a land where there is no security. And the issue of security is every man’s business.
“So, we want to urge you to say something when you see something. Tell the security agencies when you suspect anything dangerous.
