“Oba Ibeun is Every Community’s Wish as a King” – IDA President, Iyara, Orokore Recognises Elulu
The National President of Iyara Development Association (IDA), Mr. Aliyu Badaki has described the Elulu of Mopa and Chairman Mopamuro Local Government Area (LGA) Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Oba Muyiwa Ibeun as every community’s wish as a King.
He said this when he was welcoming Royal Fathers to the 2024 Iyara Cultural Day in Iyara on Saturday.
After welcoming the Royal Father of the Day, the Olujumu of Ijumu Land, the Chairman, Ijumu Local Government Area Traditional Council, HRM, Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni, Mr. Badaki welcomed the Elulu.
He said Oba Ibeun is a man of great influence and development oriented, who is civilized and modernizing and changing the face of Traditional Stools, not only in Okun Land, but in Kogi State generally.
While Oba Muyiwa Ibeun was recognised as Special Royal Guest for Iyara Cultural Day, he was the Royal Father of the Day for Orokere Day; he expressed immense appreciation for the recognition.
In a different statement, Elulu has sent his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Orokere-Amuro on their celebration of 2024 Orokere Day. Using the Orokere-Amuro Welfare Society (OWA) as a point of contact, he apologised for not making it physically to the program.
Extending Congratulations to the Orokere-Amuro Traditional Council and the Amuro Traditional Council (ATC) under the rulership of the Alamuro of Amuro, HRM, Oba Modupe Alfred Aiyedogbon, he said his heart is at the Orokere-Amuro Day programme, even though he is absent.
Oba Ibeun, in his message, also hailed the Ajungbonjagun of Orokere-Amuro, His Royal Highness, Oba Micheal Arogbonlo for having a successful 2024 Orokere Amuro Day under his rulership, he prayed that Orokere-Amuro will continue to witness greatness.
He appreciated OWA for inviting him, adding that it is not taken for granted, praying that Orokere-Amuro will be greater and more progressive, assuring the community that they have his 100% support for unity, peace and development.
