Alhaji Haruna Cast’s his vote at his polling unit in Ogidi, Applauds Process
Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna DSTV, APC Chairmanship candidate, on Saturday voted at his Ogidi country home and lauded the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) for an improved Electoral process.
The Chairmanship Candidate,who arrived at his Unit 001, Okoro/Igah Ward at 9.00am , cast his vote at about 10: 30am.
Addressing the journalist shortly after casting his vote, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna, who hailed the smooth Electoral process so far, commended KOSIEC for it’s efforts at ensuring hitch free Polls despite inherent challenges.
Alhaji Haruna commended the large voter turnout at his polling unit, describing the process as fair.
He also urged all Eligible voter’s in Ijumu Local Government Area to come out en masses to exercise their franchise.
Speaking on his assessment of the Election, Alhaji Haruna said, “I can only use my Ward and my polling unit to assess, the process for now, I can say it’s seamless and it’s an improvement on the previous Election. I must commend KOSIEC for this.
I have received feedback from some parts of Ijumu Local Government Area in respect to the ongoing Election and KOSIEC has risen to the occasion.
I enjoin all Ijumu people to go out and exercise Their voting right and remain peaceful” he added.
