PDP Chairmanship Candidate for Kabba-Bunu LGA Calls on Supporters to Disregard Withdrawal Rumours
I remain the candidate to beat in the election
Victory is assured if the electoral process is free and fair.
In a bid to dispel rumours circulating that he has withdrawn from the upcoming Kabba-Bunu LGA Council election, Hon. Segun Modeyin, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship candidate, has urged his supporters and the entire electorate of Kabba-Bunu LGA to remain steadfast in their support for him.
Addressing a gathering of supporters today, Hon. Modeyin declared, “I remain the candidate to beat in the election. I am the most exposed, most experienced and most qualified for the job. I am better positioned to lead the local government to a prosperous future.”
He went on to assert that those spreading false information about his withdrawal are doing so out of fear, as they are aware of his capabilities and level of acceptance among the people of Kabba-Bunu LGA. He encouraged his supporters to stand firm and assured them that victory is assured if the electoral process is carried out freely and fairly by the State Independent Electoral Commission.
Hon. Modeyin called on the electorate to reject all forms of propaganda and focus on the issues at hand. He expressed confidence in his ability to bring about positive change in Kabba-Bunu LGA and promised to work tirelessly for the betterment of the community if elected as the Chairman.
