Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael Receives Forum of Local Govt Ex-Political Office Holder And Former Councilors’ Forum On Solidarity Visit, As They Both Promised To Galvanize Support For His Chairmanship Race

Earlier yesterday, the forum of the LG ex-political office holders and forum of the former councilors’ who served in the administration of a former chairman of Kabba/Bunu LGA, Hon (Chief) Funsho Olorunfemi, have thrown their weight behind the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, ahead of the October 19 poll.

Prominent leaders and political stakeholders have reiterated their support for Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, stressing that the former caretaker chairman has done enough to merit overwhelming support from the people of Kabba/Bunu LGA.

The leader of the team and the spokesman of the joint forums, Hon (Barr.) Emmanuel Funsho Boluromi commended the APC standard bearer for what they described as a positive turnaround of Kabba/Bunu LGA under his watch, saying his passion for leadership, capability to propel the local government area toward greater heights, his positive initiatives and his commitment to improve security activities is commendable.

The former council lawmaker from Asuta ward, Hon (Barr.) Emmanuel Boluromi noted that, having served the local government area with a comprehensive understanding of its development needs, he believes the APC chairmanship candidate is the right leader to advance Kabba/Bunu LGA socioeconomic and cultural development. “I urge all well-meaning citizens to unite and ensure his continued leadership for the benefit of our beloved local government area,” he added.

The forums passed a vote of confidence on the APC chairmanship candidate, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael for his exceptional leadership, attributes and disposition to good governance.

They assured the APC candidate of prayers and support ahead of the October polls in the local government area.

Also speaking at the meeting, the former council leader, Hon (Prince) Olorunmola Mathew Yomi pledged the loyalty of the forums to the present administration stressing that everything is being done to ensure the party continues to wax stronger and stronger in Kabba/Bunu LGA.

He applauded the APC chairmanship candidate on his avowed mission to raise the bar of governance in the local government area and for placing priority on people oriented programmes.

The joint forums, in her resolution at the end of its meeting, the former Secretary to the local government area, Hon (Pastor) Lawrence Obayomi said the forums has its members across all the 15 wards in Kabba/Bunu LGA and they had expressed their unalloyed support for the APC chairmanship candidate with a commitment to work assiduously for his election.

Zacchaeus, in his address appreciated their solidarity and support as he expressed his administration’s preparation to ensure all citizens enjoy true dividends of democracy.

He promised to continue to walk on the path of equity, fairness and Justice for all that one of his topmost priority is to ensure he secured the lives and livelihoods of the people.
