LG Polls: Barr. Zacchaeus candidature gains more momentum as leading opposition party the ‘ADC’ endorses him for Kabba/ Bunu LGA Chairmanship
Ahead the All Progressives Congress APC local government campaign council inauguration and flag presentation scheduled for Saturday 9th October, the APC candidates in Kabba/ Bunu LGA has not only gain more acceptance and support from the populace, the party has also been able to convince opposition parties and their members beyond doubt that the candidates of the APC are credible, capable and most suitable for all elective positions in the forthcoming elections.
In the early hours of today, the leading opposition party in Kogi State, ‘African Democratic Congress ADC’ Kabba/ Bunu chapter in the wisdom of her leadership and as unanimously agreed upon by her members has endorsed the candidature of Hon. Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, the APC chairmanship candidate for Kabba/ Bunu LGA in the forthcoming elections.

This support and endorsement is another evident testimony of the APC candidates general and popular acceptance by the people and a significant pointer to a landslide victory at polls.
The ADC leadership as lead by Dr. Idris Rufus Oluwafemi in his address stated that, “We believe in sustaining the peace that the state is presently enjoying, and we feel that to maintain this peace, everyone has to come together
We are a grassroot focused party and we believe the Local Government is the closest Government to the people, hence we will activate our party’s election winning strategies to complement APC’s efforts to victory.”
With this development and coupled with the multiple decamping from various political parties into the progressives fold, it is safe to say that the All Progressives Congress candidates will go to polls unopposed.
In this same spirit, we implore all political actor and leaders of opinions to harness every available resources and deploy them strategically and legitimately, accordingly, to advance the good cause of the progressives (APC) and her candidates in every nook and crannies of the Kabba/ Bunu communities, to aid the untainted victory of the APC in the forthcoming elections.
