THE ASPIRATIONS OF KABBA/BUNU/ IJUMU AS A CONSTITUENCY; AND THE CANDIDATURE OF OTUNBA OLAIYA MICHAEL OLOBATOKE (OMO)

The fundamental and core attributes and/or responsibilities of anyone who aspires to foster growth, represent and develop a society is to have “an in-depth understanding” of the said society putting into critical consideration, the people, their dynamism, the weakness and strength of the society, the history, the chronicle of development and the pace of developing and most importantly the aspirations of the people/ the society, then credibility, capability, objectiveness and passion.
Kabba/Bunu/ Ijumu Federal constituency as a developing and dynamic society with diverse communities of different calls of pressing needs, attention and conventional aspirations of growth and true development as a constituency needs a representative who is a participating member (active actor) of the Kabba/Bunu and Ijumu communities, such person must be grounded in the political and socio-cultural history of the people, he or she must also be well informed about the development pace and developments history, wants, needs and necessities of these communities; a representative who doesn’t just assume to know what the people want or what the constituency aspirations are but rather has a good knowledge of the people and understand their aspirations.
The type of representative that is needed to actualize the people’s aspirations is “that which is from within them, that with good knowledge and understanding of the people, who does not only know the plight and aspirations of the people but feel and share with the people their agonies, pains and wins”: such representation that will be committed to giving the people a voice in their rights and vivaciously pursuing the actualization of the people’s aspirations.
The candidature of Otunba Olaiya Michael Olobatoke (OMO) to represent the good people of Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu Federal constituency is not only anchored on the drive for maximal actualization of the people’s aspirations toward developments, but also anchored on his ever reinforcing passion for service and development of both his people that he (OMO) already represents in different capacities and the societies he represents also (Kabba/Bunu,/Ijumu and the global society).
Otunba Olaiya Michael Olobatoke is not only capable and credible, grounded, well-informed and passionate about the people of Kabba/Bunu/ Ijumu Federal constituency, on their needs, wants, pressing necessities, their peculiarities, as a consistency, but Olobatoke Olaiya has also over the decades remain a critical and progressive actor of these communities. OMO is a grassroots member and participant of these communities he seeks to represent in a more productive/ Impactful capacity.
The relevancy, capability and credibility, integrity of his person, progressive participation, outstanding impacts and most especially the love, leading to an overwhelming acceptance and appreciation of the good people of Kabba/Bunu and Ijumu communities can be traced and established in the Royal recognitions and conferment of prestigious Chieftaincy titles in the heart of Kabba/Bunu and Ijumu communities.
The candidature of Otunba Olaiya Michael Olobatoke is that which will represent, integrity, credibility and capacity. His candidature will represent the developmental aspirations of the Kabba/Bunu/ Ijumu Federal Constituency. He’s will be the candidature that represents the people if supported. He’s will be, the candidature that would afford the people a voice and a voice to be heard and harken unto.
He’s will be, a candidature that promises to facelift our dear constituency for true development, pragmatic representation, which will be better by far in the area of legislation that will enhance developments with direct impacts on the constituents and constituency.
This, promises to be the era for human/capital and infrastructural development in Kabba/Bunu/ Ijumu Federal constituency through a better representation and legislation with OMO.
