Hon. Taufiq Flagg-Off Free Medical Treatment And Drug Distribution In Ijumu Local Government

The Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Council and Kogi State ALGON Chairman,Hon. Taufiq Isa has flagged-off free medical treatment and drug distribution in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The Free Medical outreach and drug distribution is a collaborative effort of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON),Kogi State.

The Executive Chairman thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi State,Alh. Yahaya Bello for his uncommon leadership towards the health of the  downtrodden people in the grassroots,he narrated how difficult it can be for the rural people to purchase drugs of #100 due to the economic situation of the country but the singular effort and leadership of the governor has provided a free drugs outreach to the rural people.

He equally appreciate the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs,Hon. Barrister Momodu Ozigi (Deedat) for his understanding and cooperation with the ALGON body.

The Olugbede of Gbede,HRM. Col.(Rtd) Oba Oloruntoba appreciate the Executive Governor of Kogi State,Alh. Yahaya Bello and the Kogi State ALGON Chairman,Hon. Taufiq Isa for their leadership style in ensuring the rural residents benefited from their magnanimous efforts.

The Supervisory Councilor for Health,Hon. Oshe Bola and H.O.D for Health,Mrs.Asagun Veronica commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State,Alh. Yahaya Bello for providing the required leadership for the people of the State.
